# Over the Counter

**How does Over the Counter (OTC) deals work?**

When the Froggie Koin Treasury needs ADA, we do not sell on the open market. Instead we offer to sell off market, also known as OTC. This wouldn't impact the market price action and is in the long run healthier for the community. The funds raised from selling Froggie is then used to fill add to LP. Also a portion is used to buy back Froggie on the market when the price goes down by an x amount of %.
